On Monday 23 April, 8 Wimborne ringers from the local Sunday Service band rang a peal to celebrate St George’s Day, as well as the birth of the third child to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The band rang 5,088 changes of Superlative Surprise Major in 2 hours 56 minutes. Full details of the peal can be found on bellboard.
